fantastic central spot for exploring utila's best attractions
Staying here was great since it's in the heart of town and only a few steps from local bars and restaurants. Plus, the cafe across the street served the best coffee, a lovely touch .

Place was upscale, loved the stay.
Clean room with AC and a hammock, as for instance, I had everything needed.

the hotel had nice and comfy location really close to all the shops and the store, the ferry and the ocean. popped in skid row bar & grill for shots before sleep, it was relatively close to the venue. the rooms themselves were clean and beautiful on the water.

The view was 'fine' but earplugs were a necessity due to the blaring music, very relaxing, indeed! Breakfast? An hour wait for cold, unappetizing food was unacceptable. I woudl ve been thrilled with a room upgrade, but clearly that idea was not on anyone's agenda. I almost thought to leave a good review, but who am i kidding!

A lovely spot with comfy rooms and a fine waterfront view. The private porch with a hammock was paradise! And I never ran out of ice for my drinks, a miracle.
Plus, I could really use a fridge in the room to keep my leftovers yummy.

Utila Lodge was great with its cute atmosphere and genuine staff. The highlight of my stay was enjoying delicious family-style meals daily, particularly the breakfast bagels paired with iced dirty chai. The staff's attentiveness.
Dining options could be more varied.

Spent 3 nights at the Lodge, enjoying the large, comfortable room with wood floors and a spacious bathroom with great shower pressure. The private balcony offered fine sea views, ideal for sipping iced dirty chai while watching the sun dip below the horizon. Staff, a good experience!
Some noise from nearby bars.

a lovely stay, but some room for improvement
The room was spacious with beautiful wood floors. The big bathroom featured an excellent shower with great pressure and hot water. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the water. The sea view added a serene touch to our meals.
While the overall experience was positive, the presence of a somewhat arrogant salesman at the dive shop left a negative impression.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely place, enjoying the gorgeous breakfast bagels and iced dirty chai while relaxing on the dock. The only letdown was the inconsistent wifi, but I'd still return for the comfort and views.
